Meet our new teacher, Kru Darel

Greetings everyone! I'm Darel, an active and fun teacher from the Philippines. I used to teach in an international school in Bangkok and I've also taught Phonics for beginning Primary 1-3 students in Korat.

Since I am an adventurous person, I also got to experience teaching in the countryside of Thailand, particularly in Pakthongchai in Korat province. I taught English for Communication Development for Mathayom students in a government school in Korat.

Teaching English and Drama in Thailand has been a great journey for me. I am excited to teach Thai students and other nationalities and be able to share with them my knowledge and skills in English language communication and my in-depth background in Drama. I'm a member of 2 international organisations, namely the Philippines Communication Society and the Communication and Media Studies Research Network, USA. These organisations are a group of scholars, researchers and academicians who are experts in the field of communication and media. As a member of these organisations, I conduct research and published my works in their journals. As a researcher, I focus on communication, media, gender and cultural studies.

I am grateful and excited to be working in Phumdham Primary, where I can share my knowledge and experience with my students, co-teachers and the entire community.
